Fence line clearing opens a strip of ground along the fence you have or the one you plan. Intex Rock and Cedar Solutions takes cedar (Ashe juniper), brush, small trees and loose rock off that strip. We clear fence lines on ranches, pastures, acreage and homesites around Kyle. Your fence builder then starts on a clean, level path.
We clear the line, and the fence itself is your fence builder's work. That includes the post holes and any fence repair. If the whole lot or pasture needs work, land clearing around Kyle can join the same job. We work for homeowners and landowners, plus commercial and development jobs.
Tell us about the land, the work it needs and where it is. We look at the job and put a free estimate in writing.
A planned fence line needs an open route before the builder can lay it out. An old fence line needs the cedar and brush cleared away from the wire. Either way, the goal is a clean strip the fence crew can work along.
Cedar and brush on the line get mulched where they stand. The skid steer mulcher works tight spots along fences and around trees you keep. On long, open runs, the 400 horsepower wheeled mulcher covers more ground. It is the same forestry mulching we do on whole pastures.
Rock on the line gets broken up or ground down. The hydraulic hammer breaks boulders and ledge rock. Loose surface rock can be ground in place into caliche base with rock milling. The fence crew then gets a level path to set posts and stretch wire.
Start with the line itself. On a boundary fence, a survey shows where the property line runs. Flag the corners, the gate openings and the run between them. Then mark each tree on the line you want kept, and we clear around it.
Public utility companies may not mark lines that run from the meter onto private property, Texas 811 says. Getting those private lines marked before digging is the owner's job. On acreage, that can mean a water line to a barn, a septic line or a buried power line. Show us each one before work starts.
Kyle adds two steps inside the city. Its own water, wastewater and stormwater lines are not part of the Texas 811 ticket. The city takes those locate requests itself. Its code also puts cedar 25 caliper inches or larger through a tree removal process, to preserve golden-cheeked warbler habitat.
Post holes are the fence builder's work, and so is the 811 call for them. State law says a person who intends to excavate notifies the one-call center first. Texas 811 says there is no blanket ticket. A general contractor's ticket does not cover subcontractors.
Under that law, to excavate means using powered equipment to disturb soil 16 inches deep or more. The definition names auguring, so a powered post hole auger at that depth counts. Texas 811 says to call at least two business days before excavating, not counting weekends and holidays. State law sets the earliest notice at 14 days before the dig.
On farm and ranch land, the notice rule does not apply to activities on private property tied to agricultural operations. We still recommend the call before any post hole goes in. Texas 811 also says it helps to mark the planned worksite in white.

I had Intex Rock & Cedar Solutions come out and rock mill about 2 acres of my field, and they did an outstanding job. The difference before and after was incredible. They showed up when they said they would, worked hard, and treated my property like it was their own.
Outstanding job by Trey with Intex Rock & Cedar Solutions! My wife and I were in need of a spot cleared for our future home and Trey exceeded our expectations. He also helped us with removing some old existing piers and leaving the ground nice and level. Highly recommend!
We recently had them out for a major project involving cedar clearing and rock crushing, and the results are incredible. They didn't just clear the land; they transformed the terrain. Their rock milling and crushing equipment turned rough, unusable limestone into a smooth, walkable surface.
