Intex Rock and Cedar Solutions is a land clearing company in Kyle, Texas, south of Austin. We clear land for homes, building pads, pastures and fence lines. Surface rock gets ground into caliche base, and cedar (Ashe juniper) and brush get mulched where they stand. We also cut ranch roads and driveways, and we do light demolition on farms and ranches.
Intex started with the rock that covered Trey Weatherford's own land in Driftwood. A skid steer and a rock crusher cleared that ground, and the neighbors' places came next. Their friends' places followed, all by word of mouth. From there the company grew into commercial work.

For rock milling, the tractor-mounted rock mill grinds rock up to 12 to 14 inches across into 3/4 minus caliche. Boulders and thick ledge get the hydraulic hammer first.
